Today we unveiled a major overhaul on our digital room condition form template page in our admin panel. We have simplified making room condition reports even more. Edit Text in Place: Now you can simply click any of the text in the “Edit Template” mode on the admin panel and have the ability to change text in place without leaving the page. After much deliberation, our team has finally developed a name for our app – uCondition. We are extremely excited about our new name and logo. Here’s our thought process: the “u” comes from university. Since we are going through the Condition of the rooms in a university we came up with University – Condition. Or simplifying it, uCondition. It’s that simple! So as of July 13, 2012, uCondition is officially the name of the first and only digital room condition reporting system available to residence life departments around the globe!
We are cranking out some new designs for our admin panel in the RLA. To the right, we have the general RCF page. This allows administrators to go into the control panel and add brand new RCF templates, edit templates, etc. One of the features we are most excited about is the ability to go in and edit the elements on the individual RCFS. Walking around to several hundred rooms, using a whiteboard and my iPhone as a camera I began taking photo documentation of every single stain, scratch, tear, hole and mess left behind by the 750+ residents living in the residential area for which I was responsible.
